Neither snow nor hail, nor snow, nor more snow could stop the Strauses from embarking on this adventure. Though the predictions were bleak, the roads were fine and we made it to DIA without a hitch. Lufthansa however, had some issues of their own, and after plodding through a 2.75 mile boarding line, and having our carryon bags checked at the gate due to space limitations (on a 747?!?), we were finally on our way, albeit one and half hours late. What to say about a 10 hour flight to Frankfurt…. BORING. |
